Natural Resources

   We may have some future geologists in this class!  Through discussion of Natural Resources, we took a closer look at minerals.  Students have been testing eight minerals using the characteristics of minerals- color, hardness, luster, and streak.  The photos below show the students performing a hardness test!  Ask students about the Moh's Scale of Hardness and how they tested their minerals!
